At Harry Beckwith’s, located in Micanopy just south of Gainesville, FL, we’re proud to offer a safe, clean, and fully equipped indoor shooting range that welcomes shooters of all experience levels. 

 

Whether you're here to train, try before you buy, or simply enjoy time on the range, our facility is designed with your comfort, convenience, and safety in mind.

State-of-the-Art 25-Yard Range

Our 25-yard indoor range features 10 individual shooting lanes with electronic target retrieval systems, making practice efficient and enjoyable. A designated public viewing area is available, but for safety reasons, only shooters are allowed inside the range. We allow all standard handgun calibers, including up to .44 Magnum, as well as long guns chambered in handgun calibers.

Our indoor shooting range is fully air-conditioned, well-lit, and equipped with advanced ventilation systems to ensure a clean and safe environment for all shooters.

We offer a wide selection of rental firearms, giving you the opportunity to try before you buy and find the firearm that feels right for you. Please note: when renting our pistols or small-caliber rifles, we require the use of ammunition purchased from our facility.

We maintain a wide selection of rental firearms, giving you the opportunity to test different models before making a purchase. It’s a great way to get familiar with various handguns and small-caliber rifles. Please note that when renting our firearms, ammunition must be purchased on-site.

Range-Safe Ammunition Available On-Site

We carry a wide selection of range-safe ammunition from top brands like Remington, PMC, Federal, Winchester, American Eagle, and Independence. For those seeking self-defense ammo, we also offer a variety of calibers and trusted names such as Hornady, Extreme Shock, and PowerBall. Whether you're practicing at the range or preparing for personal protection, you'll find the ammunition you need right here.

Targets, Eye & Ear Protection

We offer a variety of paper targets, including bull’s-eye and silhouette styles, as well as high-visibility options like Dirty Bird® and Shoot-N-See®. We also sell and rent quality eye and ear protection to keep you safe on the range. While you're welcome to bring your own gear, we appreciate your support in helping us keep range fees low by purchasing your targets and ammunition from our pro shop.

Training & Safety Classes

Our professional staff is here to assist shooters on the range and provide expert guidance. We offer a variety of handgun safety and personal protection classes, ideal for beginners or those seeking a refresher. All shooters must follow posted range rules and staff instructions at all times to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Memberships, Day Passes & Private Events

We offer flexible range memberships and day-use options to fit your schedule and budget.
